The Jubas
Alongside my dear friend Julia Leal, I hopped on my first entrepreneurial journey while finishing University.

The Jubas started as a Digital Marketing consultancy and it allowed us to explore various forms of content creation, social media management and design.

From a dentist to a start-up, we had the chance to work with a bunch of really nice people. It was the first time I professionally worked as a designer and it was love at the first.. design.

Even though I have sensational memories from that time, the 'negative' aspects taught me the most. With no doubts it was a defining moment in my career - when I took a turn right and left Marketing St. to embark upon a new path to user experience and interface.

Learnings: what would I have done differently?
Nowadays, I can't imagine myself starting up a business that had as its core social media. I loved technology and I loved creation and communication... and in my early twenties Digital Marketing felt like the obvious choice. It was fun, taught me loads about visual aids, SEO and other subjects that still keep me company on daily tasks... but I know now that posting calendars aren't my jam. So if I were to come back in time I would have dived earlier into coding lessons and left social media to my procrastinating self indulging moments.
