On Holding AG is a Swiss running shoes and sportswear company and my professional the-one-that-got-away.

This is the case study I produced during a long recruitment process that (frustratedly for me) ended with the position being frozen. Ultimately, this no was the kick start to my long planned product design career, so for that I'm already thankful to On.
​
At the occasion, I was a candidate to work with design and branding, but under the Learning and Development scope. In general lines, the mission was based on presenting On's values (called by the company 'spirits') to new employees.

My idea was to join both ends of what makes On what it is - from research and production to hitting the shops and various' athletes feet.

The videos you can see below are made with snippets from On's institutional material with the voice over of the company's sponsored athletes' competitions. At the end, you'll also be able to see little animations that I created to represent each spirit with little nods to On's history - from Swiss mountains to shoes being made out of garden hoses.

Learnings: what would I have done differently?
On's athletic soul was about passion for me and I chose the video format because I thought it would be the mean that would best translate that. What I see now, looking back at the case study scope is that I could have used a more rigid format - such as an infographic - because it's rigidity would have brought an element of surprise that could have translated well into an onboarding campaign.
