As modern poet A. Lavigne once said: "life's like this, and you fall, and you crawl, and you break, and you take what you get and you turn it into... honesty" - or a more appropriate quote for a portfolio, as B. Gates supposedly affirmed "it's fine to celebrate success, but it more important to heed the lessons of failure".
